Warehousing and logistics

Receiving, stocktakes and shipping without paper or waiting

FairAI builds AI software for warehouses and logistics operators: loads confirmed before saying yes, receiving reports by voice and photo, stocktakes from a photo, a portal that answers clients and checked shipments.

“Can we take it?” Answered in minutes

1/4 · The request arrives: can we take it?

Planning assistantExample
Trucks:

Can we receive 26 trucks of green coffee on Thursday 23/10?

Yes, with one extra forklift team in the morning. Bay 3 and warehouse B have space.

Illustrative example with fictitious data

Today

When an urgent request comes in, someone goes through spreadsheets and asks several people whether there is capacity. The answer takes time and the impact on other deliveries goes unseen.

With FairAI

FairAI simulates the request against the real load and shows options with dates and costs. The planner chooses.

With FairAI

  • Faster, firmer answers to clients
  • Clashes spotted before they happen
  • Impact on other orders shown up front

Builds on our workthe planning assistant that simulates new orders against capacity and cost.

Use cases · 2 · Receiving

Speak it, snap it, and the report is ready

1/4 · The team photographs the pallets

Today

In the warehouse, counts and receiving notes are written by hand or typed up at the end of the shift. For foreign clients, they still need translating.

With FairAI

Staff speak and photograph the pallets. FairAI reads the labels, counts the units and fills in the report in the client’s language. Anything unclear is flagged.

With FairAI

  • Units counted and labels read from the photo
  • Spoken in any language, reported in the client’s
  • Report ready by the end of the shift

Try it: Choose another area and decide what to do about the difference.

Illustrative example with fictitious data

Today

Stocktakes are counted by hand, area by area. Differences from the system only show up weeks later, when goods are missing from a shipment.

With FairAI

Photograph the area with a phone. FairAI counts the pallets, compares them with what the system says and shows the difference. The person in charge decides: recount or adjust the stock.

With FairAI

  • Counts in minutes, not shifts
  • Differences seen the same day
  • Every count is kept with its photo

Use cases · 4 · Stock and clients

Clients ask, the portal answers

1/3 · The client asks in the portal

Client portal · AssistantExample

How much coffee do I hold in Dublin, and how much is reserved?

1,240 pallets in Dublin: 830 reserved for shipments and 410 free.

Ask about stock, shipments or documents…

Try it: Pick another question.

Illustrative example with fictitious data

Today

Clients email or call to find out how much stock they have, what is reserved or when an order ships. Every question takes someone in customer service.

With FairAI

In your portal, an assistant answers each client from their own data. Each client sees only what is theirs.

With FairAI

  • Instant answers on stock and shipments
  • Fewer routine customer-service emails
  • The data can stay on your servers

Builds on our workthe assistants that answer from a company’s own data and documents, like the one we built for the Pawpass website. Read the case study Pawpass

Use cases · 5 · Outbound

Everything checked before the truck arrives

1/4 · Today’s collections

Today’s collectionsExample

Mon 20/10 · 3 collections

    • Loading instructions received
    • Driver details and plates: missing
    • Stock staged at bay 4

Follow-up to the client · ES

Hola, para la recogida EXP-2042 nos faltan los datos de los conductores. ¿Nos los pueden enviar antes de las 14:00?

Sent

Try it: Open each collection to see what was checked.

Illustrative example with fictitious data

Today

Only with the truck at the gate does someone find a missing document, a hold or a stock shortfall. The loading slot and the trip are lost.

With FairAI

Before each collection, FairAI checks instructions, documents and stock and lists what is ready, missing or blocked. The client follow-up comes out ready to review and send.

With FairAI

  • Fewer lost slots and wasted trips
  • Holds visible early
  • Follow-ups drafted in each client’s language

What it costs today

What does repetitive work cost you today?

Run the numbers for your company: looking for information, copying data between systems, putting quotes together by hand.

What your team already spends today

392 h a month

In wages, this already costs you about €7,047 a month (€84,564 a year).

The maths: 15 people × 6 h a week × 4.35 weeks × €18 an hour.

In the call, we look at where that time weighs most and what can be done with it.

FAQ

What people usually ask us

Do we have to change our WMS or ERP?

No. We connect to what you already use (ERP, WMS, spreadsheets and email) and start read-only. If you replace a system, only the connection to that system changes.

We already have AI in our ERP, or Copilot. Why do we need you?

Use it for what it does well. Copilot and the AI built into ERPs (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage…) help with emails, summaries, finance and alerts, and they are the same for every company. We take care of what is yours alone: the answer on capacity for a load, the warehouse report by voice and photo, the check before shipping. We connect to the ERP and the WMS; we don’t replace them.

What language do the reports come out in?

Each client’s own. The team speaks or writes in Portuguese, and the report comes out in English or Spanish, for example, ready to review.

In the portal, does each client only see their own data?

Yes. The assistant answers each client with their own data only, and that data can stay on your servers.

What existing work is this built on?

On pieces already in use: voice and photo reports at a machine builder, search across years of documents and images, and assistants that answer from documentation. In the pilot, we show the result with your data.

How long until something is working?

We start with a 30-minute call. Then a pilot of about 1 month on a real case leaves a first version working with your data.

Next step

Let’s look at a process in your warehouse

A 30-minute call, online or at your warehouse, about one real process: a receiving, a stocktake, a shipment. We look together at whether there is a fit, and afterwards send you in writing what we saw and the next step.
