Quotes and plans in minutes, from what the factory knows

FairAI builds AI software for factories that make to order or by project: quotes, rush orders, information from past jobs and service reports, using what is already in the ERP, spreadsheets, drawings and email.

Metalworking, fabrication, moulds, plastics and furniture.

Today

To build a quote, someone searches folders and spreadsheets for similar jobs, redoes the maths and waits for the person who knows the prices to be available.

With FairAI

The enquiry arrives with the drawing. FairAI finds the most similar past jobs and proposes the lines, with the source of every figure. The estimator reviews, adjusts and sends.

With FairAI

  • Quotes go out even when the most experienced person is away
  • Prices consistent with what the company has charged before
  • Every line shows its source, so it is quick to check

Today

When an urgent request comes in, someone goes through spreadsheets and asks several people whether there is capacity. The answer takes time and the impact on other deliveries goes unseen.

With FairAI

FairAI simulates the request against the real load and shows options with dates and costs. The planner chooses.

With FairAI

  • Faster, firmer answers to clients
  • Clashes spotted before they happen
  • Impact on other orders shown up front

Today

When an urgent order comes in, the production manager redoes the plan in their head or in a spreadsheet, without seeing straight away what gets delayed and what each option costs.

With FairAI

FairAI fits the rush order into the current plan and proposes options, each with delivery dates and cost. The planner chooses.

Track record

Featured success story: F. Caixeiro

Of the work we have done for manufacturers, this is the one we highlight: F. Caixeiro builds machines and records every service visit in an app we built, with reports in each client’s language.

Mobile app screen: photo of a machine with the text read from the image and a voice note being recorded. Next to it, the report on a computer, with the issues and improvements identified.

What it costs today

What does repetitive work cost you today?

Run the numbers for your company: looking for information, copying data between systems, putting quotes together by hand.

What your team already spends today

392 h a month

In wages, this already costs you about €7,047 a month (€84,564 a year).

The maths: 15 people × 6 h a week × 4.35 weeks × €18 an hour.

In the call, we look at where that time weighs most and what can be done with it.

FAQ

What people usually ask us

Do we have to change our ERP?

No. FairAI connects to the ERP you already use (PHC, for example), to your spreadsheets, drawings and email. The ERP stays the system of record, and we start read-only.

We already have AI in our ERP, or Copilot. Why do we need you?

Use it for what it does well. Copilot and the AI built into ERPs (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage…) help with emails, summaries, finance and alerts, and they are the same for every company. We take care of what is yours alone: the quote built from similar past jobs, re-planning when a rush order comes in, the service report from voice and photos. We connect to the ERP; we don’t replace it.

Is it right for a factory like ours?

If you make to order, by project or get new requests every day, yes: metalworking, fabrication, moulds, plastics or furniture. It is not for factories that mass-produce a single product.

Who decides what goes to the client?

Always a person. FairAI prepares the quote, the plan or the report, and the estimator, the planner or the technician reviews and decides.

Does our data leave the factory?

It does not have to. The AI can run on your own servers, with local models, without FairAI having access to the data. If you prefer the cloud, which costs less, we put in writing what leaves and where it goes.

How long until something is working?

We start with a 30-minute call. Then a pilot of about 1 month on a real case leaves a first version working with your data.

Next step

Let’s look at a process in your factory

A 30-minute call, online or at your factory, about one real process: a quote, a rush order, a service visit. We look together at whether there is a fit, and afterwards send you in writing what we saw and the next step.
